Jason Beghe on his alienation from Scientology. I guess it was inevitable that I’d go through a period of just staring, and rolling my eyes…and staring again, It’s pretty fascinating stuff. I’m not gonna lie—I’m jealous of the sort of person who can pull this off, whatever their precise scam is. I’ve seen people try and fail, seen friends try and come so close to success that I bolted and never found out how well they did in the end, I guess…I just don’t know what it takes to be on either side of it, and both sides worry me.
