She’s the motherfucking BAMF, and I reject all retcons.
That’s Bill Sienkiewiz (sp?)
Correct spelling!
Twenty years I’ve loved his art—twenty years I am not sure about spelling his name. At least we have Google now. And it’s Sienkiewicz, Google tells me. I’m always sure there’s a C, never sure where or why.
God, she fine…

I love them so much.
Do I want a Wolverine to my Storm, or an Ororo to my Logan?
Depends on what quality crack I’m smoking, I guess.

This is in my always reblog category.
This looks a lot better bigger, instead of crushed by Tumblr’s genius layout. This one *almost* pops for me. Of course I like it—I wouldn’t repost it if I didn’t think it was good. Really good. So I feel picky saying…I wish she was wound up all the way. I mean, we have no visual understanding of what “chambering” a lightning strike looks like. Often in action shots, it looks like a wing chun kung fu move, but what to do with static?
What pulls me in about this is the torsion in her stance. I’m getting a “wind up” feel from the coiled position reminiscent of someone loading up to throw a ball. And why not that metaphor? It’s as good as any other, it’s a position we’re familiar with, and even if you don’t need a good swing to zap Toad, it’s talking to me. But there’s something about the back, right arm that breaks that pose for me, and I realise looking at the bottom of the picture more closely I don’t know what plane her arms and shoulders are in and how the lightning is relative to that.
But that’s the nittiest of nitpickings—the combination of lighting *and* clouds goes straight to defining her by her name, and she looks like she’s about to whup some ass. Also, the post is realistically squishing her breasts (in that outfit, come ON), and that adds to my general fondness for the depiction.

A little marker sketch from Comfort of Storm from her punk days. We’ll be honest, we always like being asked to draw punk Storm, she’s one of our favorite!
This is most excellent. I like the feeling of power, with the elemental aspect captured, and the outfit played with a little, but still energetic and rebellious in a way that makes me think more Ultimate Storm than 616, but it’s not like that’s a bad thing.
Alicia Marie may be the best Storm ever!
oh my god she is storm
UNHOLY SHRIEKING
SWEET JESUS, YES.
This is actually on my cosplay list.
Now I don’t even know anymore.
And I’m done for the day. For LIFE. How could this be better?
