Hmm. Running through Aly Fell’s pinup art is pretty interesting. Most of the work is like the latter example—often period poses of women with weapons. Women with weapons==good, even if you’re not going the armour route. Sometimes you just can’t be bothered, you know [insert “doing my hair” joke here]?

So few people scare him—John, Death, the golem…who else?

I love how low down Jensen’s head is in the imaginary patting session.

Jared brings the worst out of my size queen side. He’s just so magnificently, unapologetically, large.

Mmm. Big people looking small in Jared’s giant hands. We need as much of that as possible. Maybe he could cuddle with Dwayne Johnson? Whoever looks small—even if they both look normal sized, all the world’s a winner there.

I’d like to say…to all characters with a bang-up exit, please stay gone, so you don’t undermine the impact of your departure. This includes John Winchester, who I miss most terribly, but he went out so well, that staying out keeps that golden.

But…I do want Cas back. So I’m hypocritical on that front. It’s not that I don’t think he went out well—I liked how he went out, and for a while I was perfectly happy to have him gone, and wished Misha the best of luck with his new challenges (but Ringer, srsly?) and was moving on to more and different things. But then word came out about his re-appearance, and suddenly it can’t happen soon enough (push back one week? I take that entirely personally, fuck you world!) and I’m no longer at peace.

Because if they kill him again (which I totally expect them to do, I don’t foresee or particularly want Cas back on the show regularly), this time it’s going to hurt worse. And if they don’t kill him, if he lives and just separates from the Winchesters, good god. It’s not as bad as Sam and Dean splitting up voluntarily, not by a long shot, but it will hurt.

Oh, I’m sorry. Were we talking about Gabe? Gabe, you went out good, honey. Your change of convictions and then immediately paying the price that people affiliated with the Winchesters pay was a thing of beauty, a microcosm of the show right there. The fact that it was sad that you never got to explore your alliance with Team Free Will—that was poignant right there. I liked that sadness. I cherish that sadness. That’s the kind of sadness I watch Supernatural for.

But, if Gabe’s your guy, I get why you’d want him back anyway. I just don’t.

Good exits for all!

Happy birthday Neil Gaiman!@neilhimselfI intended to draw Yvain and Tristan from Stardust, but ended up watching the movie instead and got all gooshy and teary-eyed from the OTP-ness T____T (I swear, that part where she confesses her love to dormouse Tristan gets me everytime).
