But I’ve never thought it was polite to petition writers for any sort of plot change in their show, ever. Responding when asked is one thing, but reaching out to a writer or anyone on the cast or crew and saying with a modicum of seriousness “I think the show should do XYZ”…
I have not caught up to that mindset.
