First the pretty. I read a blog post that opined, in reaction to this collection, that this was Steampunk without the traditional accouterments—Matt Rhodes, to be precise.
“Steampunk is better when it’s not made by steampunk fans.”
I guess it’s better when it’s made by Prada, and I’m sure being modelled by Willem Dafoe and Gary Oldman really doesn’t hurt. They are the real deal. Doesn’t matter what the real is, they are the deal. So come on, baby boy, Jamie. Pretty boy Garret, you come too. Let’s see what Prada whipped up and put on you.
