to notice/see something racist in that. Good god, how I hate that idea, that you need to be racist to tell when something might be either purposely or subconsciously or even fucking coincidentally loaded (and just not worth it). I mean, the flip side is—“Us non-racist people, we’re stupid and tone-deaf.” Uh, yay? Why is this something desirable? Fine—you’re too stupid to be able to see this. But don’t think for a second that’s an indicator of you being a better person than I am. It just means you’re not bright.
